Emerging Challenges in Tissue Engineering & Regenerative Medicine for the Next 15 Years:
Discovery – Innovation – Translation

This symposium provides an overview of recent advances in biomaterials science with discussions about funding opportunities, interactions with industry, and the translation of academic biomaterials research into medical devices and therapies. Posters from students and postdocs are highly encouraged.  A unique set of presenters from academia, industry, and government will give attendees a 360 degree perspective of the process from cutting-edge research to bio manufacturing and the regulatory science used by the FDA to approve tissue engineering and regenerative medicine therapies.

We are preparing a stimulating and impactful event and hope that you can join us.

45th Annual Northeast Bioengineering Conference

The 45th Annual Northeast Bioengineering Conference (NEBEC) is being hosted by the Rutgers University Department of Biomedical Engineering. The theme of 2019 NEBEC is “21st Century Opportunities in Biomedical Engineering; Impacting Healthcare from the Clinic to Industry.” This conference showcases biomedical engineering research and education programs while stimulating inter-university collaborations within the Northeast. The Conference provides a venue for biomedical engineering programs to present their research. The conference also showcases initiatives in global health, brain health and cancer research at Rutgers. It provides an industrial keynote speakership and career development venue from the Rutgers interdisciplinary Job Opportunities for Biomedical Scientists (iJOBS) programs. NEBEC has a strong emphasis on undergraduate research and promotes opportunities for undergraduate research presentations. For more details and to register, please click here.
